Abu Dhabi Gives Djibouti US$50-million Grant For Development Projects

ABU DHABI, Feb 18 (Bernama) — The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) will provide 183.5 million Emirati Dirhams (about US$49.96 million) grant to the Republic of Djibouti for development projects, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reports.

A memorandum of understanding was signed in this regard at a ceremony attended by ADFD director-general Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi and Djibouti ambassador to United Arab Emirates, Osman Mousa Drar.

The grant will be provided over the next five years.

The development projects will be identified and agreed upon in cooperation with the Djibouti government.
