LUNDU, (Sarawak) March 11 (Bernama) — Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem today thanked the federal government, particularly its ministers who have a ‘caring attitude for Sarawak.’
According to him, he welcomed any programmes undertaken by the federal ministers in the state as long as it benefited the people.
He said this at the launch of the Kembara Kebajikan 1Malaysia and Kembara [email protected] programmes organised by the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry at the Lundu Sports Complex here.
Also present was Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim.
Meanwhile Adenan said development had come to the people in the state and assured that such progress would continue to be brought to them.
Hence he urged the people in Sarawak to give their full support to the Barisan Nasional (BN) government in the coming state election.
Touching on the people’s welfare, Adenan said he welcomed contributions from all quarters to aid the needy, including the wealthy.
He said the state government was very happy with the concern showed by the ministry to provide facilities and assistance to people with disabilities in Sarawak with the setting up of the new community centre in Satok, Kuching.
