Indian Community Must Be United – Kayveas
GEORGE TOWN, March 22 (Bernama) — People’s Progressive Party (PPP) president Tan Sri M. Kayveas Sunday urged the Indian community to be strengthen and maintain unity.

He said unity in the Indian community has reduced and this could be seen especially involving business and politics.

“There is little unity within the Indian community. There are many political parties as indicated in the newspapers. No need to quarrel or have other ideologies.

“For the future and betterment of the Indian community, we must be united and strengthen unity,” he told reporters after attending a dinner with the Penang News Vendors and Book Sellers Association, here, tonight.

The Indian community should not practice unhealthy competition especially in business but on the other hand should cooperate with one another to boost their economy.
