He said the EC had reviewed the polling districts in the state based on the electoral roll that was gazetted on Nov 26, 2014.
“There are also localities whose locations have been corrected according to the real location in the field by using the latest Geographical Information System application.
“The decision of the review of the polling districts in Sabah had been gazetted in the Know the Polling Districts and Polling Centres For Federal and State Constituencies in Sabah Notice by the EC on Feb 12 2016,” he said in a statement.
Abdul Ghani said registered voters in the state could make an inspection on their respective polling district and centre from tomorrow (Feb 17) to March 1.
He said further information on the places of inspection or review of the polling district and centre can be obtained from the official portal of the EC at www.spr.gov.my or by contacting the EC Headquarters at telephone number 03-88927000 or Sabah State Election at telephone number 088-488588.
