PUTRAJAYA,. More than 1,000 Pakatan Harapan (PH) supporters gathered at Persiaran Perdana, here, to celebrate the victory of the coalition in the 14th General Election, enabling them to form the federal government.
The crowd began gathering at 10.30pm, after PH chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was sworn in as the seventh Prime Minister at Istana Negara, Kuala Lumpur.
Most supporters who came from Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and the surrounding areas, were seen carrying the PKR flag, as well as cheering and honking their vehicle horns while passing through Persiaran Perdana.
However, a heavy downpour at 11.20pm forced the supporters to disperse and take shelter at nearby buildings before re-gathering at 12.15am.
