Semenyih NGO extends financial assistance

 

SEMENYIH: An NGO Ikatan Semenyih Bersatu came forward to provide a charitable assistance to Pusat Jagaan Mahmudah.

The event held on Sunday evening was attended by Ikatan NGO advisor Raja Badli bin Raja Abdullah.

During the event, Raja Badli donated RM 500 to Pusat Jagaan Mahmudah, an old folks home with 60 people occupying the home.

Also received donation were Sekolah Agama Nur Iman from Taman Semenyih Indah, Pusat Tahfiz Al Kitab Beranang, Surau Kg Sg Purun, and brother Hafiz each receiving RM 300.

In total Raja Badli in his personal capacity handed over around RM 2,500 in total to the needy receipients.

After giving the donation, Raja Badli thanked the organiser for succesfully having a small gathering that in a way strengthen the relationship between NGO and the community.

When asked his choice to help the Semenyih people, Raja Badli emphasised that since it his hometown, he believes ‘charity not only begins from home, but from home town as well, gradually helping the people around the country in any affordable manner’.

According to Raja Badli who works as a Chief Strategic Officer with Felcra, although its a small contribution the essential thing is to help the Semenyih folks and listen to their woes, eventually finding solution to resolve it.

It is learnt that Raja Badli loves to engage in philantrophic work by helping the needy and poor people.

It is told that Raja Badli had previously donated during Back to School program, Hari Raya Aidilfitti, Chinese New Year and Deepavali programs as well.

The NGO formed in December 2017 aimed in providing assistance to ensure peace and harmony within the Semenyih folks.
