Ummi Khalsom Bahok, 25, an assistant credit controller, was accused of having committed the offence on Oct 5.  She was to have boarded an AirAsia flight from Kuala Lumpur to Brunei Darussalam, and then flown on to Istanbul in Turkey to get married to Aqif Huessin Rahaiza, a member of IS.

She was stopped at the immigration counter at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

She also faced an alternative charge of attempting to enter Syria after arriving in Istanbul to give support to the Islamic State.
