Baby girl was left in the restaurant
KUALA LUMPUR: A healthy baby was left in a bag in the area of a restaurant in Pangsapuri Sri Rakyat, Bandar Baru Bukit Jalil, last Sunday.
Cheras District Police Chief ACP Zam Halim Jamaluddin said the two-month-old baby was found by a member of the public at 10.49am before calling the Mers999 line.
According to him, the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) Chancellor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital’s medical team who made an examination confirmed that the baby was in a healthy condition.
“Further investigations are being conducted in accordance with Section 317 of the Penal Code,” he said in a statement today.
