Coming soon: the T2 i-DM – a new global benchmark for JETOUR’s hybrid technology
SHANGHAI , Dec. 20, 2024 / — Roland Berger ‘s “Automotive Outlook 2040″highlights the profound changes in the automotive industry: pure electric and hybrid models are expected to dominate by 2040.
In response to market changes and user needs, JETOUR will launch the hybrid T2 i-DM based on the TV model. It inherits the exceptional product features of the T2 and improves the drive system to offer consumers a new choice that combines driving pleasure and environmental protection.
The T2 i-DM is JETOUR’s first hybrid model for the overseas market and features i-DM (Intelligence Dual Mode) intelligent mode switching technology.
It combines high energy saving, power and battery safety, shows excellent dynamic performance and takes into account economy and safety in daily driving. It is expected to set off a new trend in global travel.
The T2 i-DM is powered by a fifth-generation, highly efficient 1.5TGDI hybrid engine that integrates six core technologies including the Deep Miller Cycle and the fourth-generation i- HEC intelligent efficient combustion system .
It is one of the engines with the highest thermal efficiency, reaching 44.5%. In addition, the engine has a maximum power of 115 kW and a maximum torque of 220 Nm, providing robust performance for various situations. The hybrid-specific 3-speed DHT transmission features a three-stage dual-motor structure that optimizes both performance and economy.
The combination of 3 gear stages with the dual-motor design enables flexible switching between 9 working modes that cover all driving scenarios. With the support of cutting-edge technologies, T2 i-DM achieves exceptional performance with a combined maximum system power of 280 kW and a combined maximum torque of 610 Nm. The powerful output greatly expands the T2 i-DM’s outdoor exploration capabilities.
The high-end version of the T2 i-DM is equipped with a large 26.7 kWh hybrid battery, which has multiple protection functions such as impact protection, water ingress protection, charging protection and high voltage protection.
With a pure electric range of 139 km, a total range of over 1000 km and a fuel consumption of 0.8 l/100 km, it offers a carefree driving experience.
In addition, the T2 i-DM has an external 3.3 kW power supply function that supports various household and kitchen appliances. The parking air conditioner can be operated independently of the running engine.
The JETOUR T2 i-DM will be launched in Qatar on December 25. The JETOUR T2 has topped the sales of the Lite Off-Road SUV in many countries this year, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Qatar. Given the popularity of the T2 and JETOUR’s i-DM technology, the performance of the JETOUR T2 i-DM is highly anticipated.
