G-SHOCK and J Balvin Unveil Limited Edition ‘Ma G’ Watch, A Bold and Customizable Collaboration
Casio America, Inc. has announced an exciting new collaboration with global music icon J Balvin, launching the Ma G-SHOCK, DWE5600JB1A9. This limited-edition timepiece blends G-SHOCK’s legendary durability with Balvin’s unique artistic flair, marking the brand’s first collaboration with a Latin artist and its debut with Spanish text on the dial.
The Ma G-SHOCK will be available globally starting January 27, 2025. The watch boasts an interchangeable band and bezel system, offering up to eight different design combinations, allowing users to personalize their style. The watch face features J Balvin’s signature lightning bolt motif, a nod to his electrifying stage presence, along with a handwritten description of the functions in Spanish, making it a truly personal and culturally significant piece.

Named after Balvin’s term for his closest friends, “Ma G” is a design meant to inspire people to recognize that “Time Matters.”
