KUALA LUMPUR: Seven vehicles believed to be carrying Sabah political party leaders were the last group to leave Tan Sri Muhyiddin’s residence in Bukit Damansara here on Sunday night.
All the vehicles with Sabah registration numbers departed from the residence of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) Chairman at about 7pm.
It is understood that they arrived before that at about 5.15 pm and met with Muhyiddin for about an hour and a half.
Earlier, at about 3.15pm, seven vehicles were seen entering Muhyiddin’s residential area carrying several PN leaders.
They include the Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) President who is also the Sabah People’s Coalition (GRS) Deputy Chairman, Datuk Seri Yong Teck Lee.
Also visible, PAS leadership included PAS President, Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang, and his Deputy, Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.
In the meantime, there are rumors that there will be Barisan Nasional (BN) Members of Parliament who will also meet the former Prime Minister.
GE15 results show that PN has won 73 parliamentary seats so far including 22 PN candidates who used the PAS logo.
Following that, Muhyiddin said, he had a meeting with the Chairman of Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), Tan Sri Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg on Sunday morning regarding the formation of the Federal Government after GE15.
As PN Chairman, he is also confident that he will obtain a sufficient number of support from the members of the People’s Assembly to enable him to be appointed by His Majesty the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong as the 10th Prime Minister.
