JAKARTA , Indonesia , Aug. 23, 2024 / — Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH, IDX: ISAT ) has made significant progress in its long-term goal of empowering Indonesia with the opening of the first AI Experience Center at Solo Technopark in the city of Solo (Central Java). Supported by advanced 5G connectivity, this state-of-the-art facility is a testament to Indosat’s commitment to shaping Indonesia’s future as an AI nation and positioning it as a key player in the global AI community.
The opening ceremony of the ground-breaking AI experience center was attended by a number of important personalities, among them the expert of the Minister of Social, Economic and Cultural Affairs representing the Minister of Communications and Informatics of the Republic of Indonesia Wijaya Kusumawardhan, as well as the President, Director and CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison Vikram Sinha and the Mayor of Surakarta (Solo) Teguh Prakosa . This milestone also demonstrates Indonesia’s achievements in realizing the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045 (Golden Indonesia 2045) through the introduction of advanced technologies, with 5G connectivity as the backbone of this transformation.

The Indosat AI Experience Center, in cooperation with the global technology leader Huawei, presents the most modern AI technologies that can be used in a wide range of industries – from intelligent city management optimized using the 5G network to art, gastronomy and other creative fields. In addition to showcasing the latest advances in artificial intelligence, the AI Experience Center will also function as a training center offering programs for students, civil servants and the general public on the topic of increasing productivity and creating new opportunities with artificial intelligence.
