Industrial Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC 2024 Supports Manufacturing Industry Players to Implement “Regenerative Manufacturing”
SINGAPORE, Oct. 8, 2024 / — The Seventh Edition of Industrial Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC (ITAP) — an event under the auspices of HANNOVER MESSE, organized by Constellar and international partner Deutsche Messe, will take place on 14-16 October 2024 at the Singapore EXPO. Against the backdrop of national policies that encourage the development of artificial intelligence (AI) and its adoption across industries [1] to achieve long-term business continuity and environmental sustainability, this year’s ITAP will highlight the transformative power of AI that advances regenerative manufacturing . As an enabling technology, AI optimizes resources and work processes to achieve ESG targets while balancing business growth and environmental sustainability. AI solutions improve operational efficiency and resilience, as well as workplace safety, and reduce waste while aligning production activities with sustainability targets to build a more sustainable future.
ITAP is a leading regional exhibition showcasing manufacturing solutions and a springboard for innovation. This year, ITAP will showcase over 400 products and solutions from around 30 countries, including industry leaders such as Amazon Web Services, Azbil Corporation, Delta Electronics, Jungheinrich Singapore, Red Hat, SAP, Siemens, and more. Regional and country pavilions from Mainland China, Germany, Hong Kong , Indonesia , Japan, Malaysia , Singapore, South Korea, and the UK, will help expand networking, collaboration, and perspective sharing across regions in one engaging platform.
Launch of the First Whitepaper on AI Utilization Approaches
ITAP 2024 will launch the first industry-specific whitepaper titled “Regenerative Manufacturing – Unlocking ASEAN’s Growth through Design and AI”. The whitepaper is co-authored by Kearney. As the first and only publication of its kind, the report accelerates the technological transformation of ASEAN’s manufacturing industry. The whitepaper involved more than 350 mid- to senior-level executives from various manufacturing industries, including CxO-level executives, in surveys and interviews. The whitepaper discusses how product design optimization and integration of AI solutions have the potential to realize the potential of regenerative manufacturing . Therefore, it is an attractive development path for ASEAN manufacturers seeking to achieve rapid growth.
The white paper outlines key trends for manufacturers to seize growth opportunities, and discusses the first steps to implementing regenerative manufacturing . For example, nearly 60% of respondents ranked AI investment as the most prevalent trend in manufacturing. The second most prevalent trend was a focus on ESG and long-term sustainability, with nearly 50% of respondents. The report explores a number of steps, including balancing profitability with sustainability, and transforming manufacturers toward long-term growth. The white paper also includes case studies across a number of industries, particularly those that prioritize regenerative practices.
“Manufacturing players in ASEAN have the potential to achieve growth worth US$ 1.2 trillion. Therefore, companies must prepare to make this happen. The effort to realize regenerative manufacturing is a long journey that requires us to continue to learn and adapt. As a trusted party that provides advice to leading companies in the world, Kearney drives transformation through Regenerative Manufacturing ,” said Keat Yap , Asia Pacific Co-Lead , Operations and Performance , Kearney.
This white paper will be discussed in detail by Keat Yap , Partner , and Young Han Koh , Principal at the Kearney booth at 11.40am on the first day of the Industrial Transformation Forum (ITF).
Learning from AI Implementation in AI Discovery Journey and Industrial Transformation Forum at ITAP
In this white paper, respondents rated AI investment as important, but only 23% of respondents have used AI. Therefore, ITAP 2024 held an AI Discovery Journey so that event attendees could explore practical AI applications across the entire manufacturing value chain. Event attendees could also gain critical analysis and tools to integrate AI into operations, and learn about AI solutions, regardless of the digital transformation phase they are currently undergoing.
AI integration also featured prominently in the discussion agenda of this year’s Industrial Transformation Forum . Supported by Strategic Knowledge Partners Deloitte, Kearney, and McKinsey & Company, the two-day conference will present comprehensive perspectives and best practices from around 60 of the world’s most influential figures. Some of the main themes to be discussed are:
*The Intersection of Leadership, Digital Transformation, and Manufacturing Complexity with AI
*Digitalization with Secure AI-Powered Smart Operations
*Designing a Human-First, AI-Powered Smart Manufacturing Strategy
*Adapting Sustainable Manufacturing Practices with AI Solutions
*Leveraging AI Technology to Build a Resilient Supply Chain
Visitors can also join the launch of Cantier XO by Cantier Systems and FORXAI Mirror by Konica Minolta Business Solutions Asia; as well as other exhibitions showcasing other smart and AI solutions, such as SAP Business AI in supply chain by SAP, Senseye Predictive Maintenance and asset intelligence by Siemens, Contentserv Product Experience Cloud by Contentserv Inc, NMS-AIoT Application Server by Planet Technology Corporation, AI Autopilot and Innoglas by Innowave Tech, and more.
” Business AI solutions have the potential to generate significant value for our customers and partners, especially in the industrial sector, and improve supply chain resilience.
