KCCM 2024: More than 200 travel-related offers.

KUALA LUMPUR: Visitors can choose from more than 200 travel packages across Malaysia during the three-day Malaysian Holiday Carnival 2024 (KCCM 2024), which will take place at the Kuala Lumpur Craft Complex from today through Sunday.

According to Khairul Firdaus Akbar Khan, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture (MOTAC), the carnival’s “Crafting Holidays” theme urged Malaysians to enjoy domestic vacations.

Additionally, throughout the event, guests can take advantage of exclusive packages offered by this carnival.

With purchase discounts ranging from 15% to 50%, over 100 industry participants are offering these bundles.

Pasar Saloma, which includes a typical Malay village concept, is one of the unique aspects of KCCM 2024.

“With more than 30 stalls selling a variety of traditional foods, pastries, and craft items, Pasar Saloma will definitely remind visitors of old memories and be a very suitable place to take pictures,” he stated.

He made this statement at the Kuala Lumpur Craft Complex during the KCCM 2024 Opening Ceremony.

Datuk Manoharan Periasamy, the Director General of Tourism Malaysia, and Datuk (Dr) Yasmin Mahmood, the Chairman of Tourism Malaysia, were also in attendance.

Additionally, a Craft Complex Package is available that offers group guided tours and craft activities at four different locations: the Kuala Lumpur Complex, Langkawi, Johor, and Melaka.

Each of these regional craft hubs has an own personality. These include of museums, craft booths, Painter’s Village, Craft Village, Heritage Craft Gallery, Craft Ethno Park, and Kelulut Honey Park.

“To help tourists plan vacations and get craft products in each state, the Craft On The Go (COTG) application can be downloaded and used to get information about it,” he stated.

According to him, Tourism Malaysia, Malaysian Crafts, and other MOTAC organizations, including the National Heritage Department and the National Culture and Arts Department, are organizing KCCM 2024.
