KEDAH AEROTROPOLIS: SIX INTERNATIONAL COMPANIES SIGN MOU IN LIMA 2023 LANGKAWI

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between Kedah Aerotropolis and six international companies was held at the Kedah Aerotropolis exhibition site at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2023 (LIMA 2023) yesterday.

Kedah Chief minister, YAB Dato’ Seri Haji Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor said an MoU was signed in Hunan, China at Zhengzhou airport a few days ago.

“Hunan city was developed based on the airport, a very large economic zone in the region,” said Sanusi.

He added that the city of Hunan is developing due to the existence of an Aerotropolis or an airport that focuses on Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and cargo.

According to the YAB Dato’ Seri Haji Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, they have agreed to enter into a joint venture and open a branch in Kedah Aerotropolis.

According to Muhammad Sanusi, there is no other obstacle that can stop Kedah Darul Aman’s big plan to own Kedah Aerotropolis.

He said, Kedah Aerotropolis is ahead of all new economic concepts.

“Kedah Aerotropolis will be a ‘game changer’ for Kedah as a catalyst for the development of ‘The Greater Kedah’,” he stressed.
