King graces religious ceremony in conjunction with 89th Armed Forces Day
KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah graced the royal banquet in conjunction with the 89th Armed Forces Day at Wisma Perwira ATM here, last night.
They were greeted upon arrival by Armed Forces chief General Tan Sri Affendi Buang and Defence Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Muez Abd Aziz. Also present were Army chief General Tan Sri Zamrose Mohd Zain, Royal Malaysian Navy chief Admiral Tan Sri Mohd Reza Mohd Sany and Royal Malaysian Air Force chief General Tan Sri Mohd Asghar Khan Goriman Khan.
After a photo session with the armed forces leadership and top officials in the main lobby, Their Majesties then proceeded to visit the mini exhibition booths accompanied by Affendi.
The ceremony was also attended by 373 armed forces officers and their wives.
The royal couple was also presented with combined band performances by the army, RMN and RMAF.
