KPN in collaboration with AEON BiG encourages UNITI Gallery Program to foster the spirit of unity
KUALA LUMPUR: The Ministry of National Unity (KPN) in collaboration with AEON BiG (M) Sdn Bhd organized the UNITI Malaysian Family Gallery Program as an effort to instill a spirit of unity among the people.
The Minister of National Unity, Datuk Halimah Mohamed Sadique said the strategic collaboration from September 29 to October 9 coincided as a platform to unite the multi-racial community in this country.
He explained that the program that took place at AEON BiG Bandar Tun Hussein Onn was also implemented at nine other selected AEON leading shopping center locations throughout the country.
“We will develop this cooperation at AEON BiG all over the country. I hope that more of our new friends such as Mydin, Econsave and some of our other unity partners will prepare to become organizers and thus fuel the atmosphere of unity in among Malaysians known for their various races, religions, cultures and languages.
“Among the selected locations are AEON Bandar Baru Klang, Selangor, AEON BiG Batu Pahat, Johor, AEON BiG Falim, Ipoh Perak, AEON BiG Penang Prai, Pulau Pinang, AEON City Melaka, AEON Kota Baharu, Kelantan, AEON Kuching, Sarawak and AEON Seremban 2, Negeri Sembilan,” she told after launching the UNITII Gallery Program on Saturday.
Also present, the Managing Director of AEON BiG (M) Sdn Bhd, Sheikh Farouk Sheikh Mohamed.
The program, which runs from 10 am to 10.30 pm, is also enlivened with various interesting activities such as the KAMI House Exhibition, which gives visitors the opportunity to learn about the special and unique traditions and cultures that are the practices of plural societies in this country.
In addition, the Malaysian Family Menu Citarasa exhibition is also lively with fillings including allowing visitors to try for themselves the uniqueness of the taste of each dish that identifies the diversity of this race.
In addition, the program was also enlivened with traditional sports activities such as congkak, Chinese yoyo and batu seremban.
At the same time, the UNITI Gallery exhibition can also be visited in other locations such as the Concourse of Kuantan Parade Supermarket, Kuantan; KTCC Mall Shopping Center, Terengganu; Federal Government Administration Complex, Sabah; Labuan Financial Ujana Complex; Econsave Kota Tinggi, Johor; and Cmart Arau Supermarket, Perlis.
