New Hall 1 at FIBO 2025 Showcases the Future of Wellness, Hospitality, and Longevity

For the first time, FIBO 2025 will spotlight the flourishing sectors of wellness and spa, body and mind, Pilates, and longevity with a dedicated exhibition space in the new Hall 1. This milestone highlights the growing importance of these industries, which are shaping modern hospitality as an increasing number of travellers and guests prioritise health and well-being.

Inspiring Ideas and Cutting-Edge Strategies at the Meeting Point Spa & Wellness
The experience begins at the Meeting Point Spa & Wellness, where networking and knowledge exchange come together. Over four days, visitors can attend interactive sessions, high-quality presentations, and discussions led by top industry experts. The event will kick off on Thursday with the presentation of the prestigious Aktiv Hotel Award by Mein Tophotel, which honours outstanding active hotels.

This will be followed on Friday by the International Day, where leading experts from the global wellness and hospitality industry will show how health and longevity can be used as economic success factors. Top-class speakers such as Dr Peter Hauschild, Claudia Wagner and Oliver Patrick will provide practical insights and pioneering strategies for hoteliers and resort operators. The event will be moderated by Andrew Gibson, Andrew Gibson Advisory, Sven Huckenbeck, Huckenbeck Holistic and Lisa Starr, Principal at Wynne Business.

Saturday will be dedicated to longevity diagnostics, interventions and technologies with experts such as Nina Ruge from StaYoung Media, Jörg Puchta MD, Robert Percy Marshall MD and Lutz Graumann MD. The programme will be rounded off with Spa Sunday, an exclusive industry meeting for spa managers and professionals organised by SpaCamp founder Wolfgang Falkner in cooperation with Keven Prünster. Exciting ideas, innovative concepts and valuable networking opportunities will continue to make Meeting Point Spa & Wellness an absolute place-to-be for the industry in 2025. FIBO is working together with other strong partners such as the Deutscher Wellness Verband, 101 Besten, Dehoga Nordrhein, ahgz, Deutsche Longevity Gesellschaft and others. Using the AI tool Wordly, all Meeting Point sessions are available in 57 languages.

Longevity Experience Area: Innovative Health and Well-being Solutions

Together with its partner C4F, Longevity – World of Experience & Salutogenesis, a walk-in hotel room based on the principles of longevity, is being created in the immediate vicinity of the Meeting Point. This innovative space brings the buzzword longevity to life with realisable insights into exercise, nutrition, sleep and mental health. With the METAWELL LUXURY LOUNGE, the PAVILLON OF SENSES offers state-of-the-art touchless therapies, which are demonstrated live and can therefore be experienced. Cold and oxygen therapy, innovative detox methods and bioneuronal sound therapy will also be presented. Here, state-of-the-art regenerative medicine, holistic nutrition and the latest health analyses merge to create a unique wellbeing experience. The visionary design by JH DESIGN and the partnerships on show set new standards in the wellness industry.

The Return of the Body & Mind Area

The concept of the new hall is rounded off with the comeback of the Body & Mind Area. Loyal FIBO partner IFAA will be delivering an impressive programme of active training courses on the trending topics of Pilates, yoga and mental health over four days. Here visitors can directly test concepts and approaches that can be easily integrated into their everyday business life.

In Hall 1, FIBO offers a unique constellation of education forums, networking lounges, experience areas and exhibition areas on a scale and diversity unrivalled anywhere in the world. Visitors will pass exhibitors with specific offers for the hotel industry, wellness facilities and spas such as Gharieni Group GmbH and devine wellness-anlagenbau Gmbh. Landsberg First Class Aesthetic will be presenting high-class beauty offers and treatments. The topic of longevity will be covered by industry giants such as Glow25, Cryotech Nordic and REVIVE from JK International. Exhibitors such as BASI Systems, Sissel and Merrithew will also be bringing the latest trends in Pilates to Hall 1.

Premier Launch of the Longevity & Hospitality Summit

This holistic experience will be complemented by the exclusive Longevity & Hospitality Summit, which will take place for the first time on Thursday, 10 April on the second floor of Confex. The English-language summit offers a high-calibre programme for international experts who are shaping the future of the hospitality industry. Curated by FIBO partners Black Coral Consulting and Yves Preissler Consulting, the most important players in the international hospitality market, such as Dr George Gatainos, CEO Chenot, will offer insights into the latest developments and provide takeaways that invite participants to implement them directly in their own business.

Topics such as ‘Longevity in Hospitality – an untapped goldmine’ by Gemma Greenwood and Judith Carthwright highlight the enormous potential of this growing market. In ‘The Longevity Traveller’, Aradhana Khowala sheds light on the needs of a new, health-conscious target group. Practical strategies for integrating longevity into brand identities will be discussed by Yves Preissler, Gemma Greenwood, Judith Carthwright and Aradhana Khowala.

Further highlights are the keynotes on the role of technology in longevity hospitality by Derek Stark, as well as the question of how longevity is possible without medication, answered by Judith Carthwright and Eva Schippers.
