THE FOLLOWING is the Royal Decree of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah in conjunction with the celebration of Maulidur Rasul 1444H/2022M:
The Honorable Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Prime Minister of Malaysia and his wife.
Honorable Senator Datuk Idris Ahmad, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department – Religious Affairs and his wife.
Dear federal ministers, distinguished guests, dear attendees and attendees.
Alhamdulillah, I express my deepest gratitude to Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala; because with his grace, grace and grace, we can gather in conjunction with the National Celebration of the Prophet’s Birthday in the year 1444 Hijrah, equivalent to 2022 AD.
Blessings and salutations upon the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and his entire family and companions.
Rabiul-awal which has arrived once again is the month of the birth of the beloved of Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala who was sent to bring a thousand blessings to mankind.
Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala said in Surah Al-Anbiya verse 107, which means: “We did not send you, Muhammad, except to give mercy to all the worlds.”
The fact is, His Majesty is the most perfect and noble creation. He shelters the soul in times of anger, illuminates a heart full of falsehood and brings a ray of light in a thousand darkness.
Attendees and attendees who are blessed by God.
The chain of pearls of history reveals how Islam brought by Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam is not only a theological and spiritual concept.
His Majesty guides us in various aspects of life which also includes the concept of administration based on “good governance;” politics; economics; security and justice.
He taught every leader to first set the right intention. after that; be honest in carrying out the trust; and put the value of piety to Allah subhanahu wata’ala as the main holding.
The concept of government demanded by Islam is a trust; which is always within the scope of the bond between man and his creator.
So; everything that the leader does must be done solely on the basis of taking care of the welfare of the ummah.
Because it; Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam demanded a close relationship between leaders and the community; which is based on an attitude of love and affection; and respect each other.
His Majesty’s words in the hadith narrated by Muslims; means:
“Your best leaders are those you love and they love you; and pray for you; and you pray for them. While the worst leaders are those you hate; and they hate you.”
Dear audience and audience.
The culmination of the preaching efforts of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam was the establishment of an Islamic kingdom through the migration of His Majesty and his companions to the city of Medina.
According to the folds of history; upon arrival in the city of Medina; He has built a mosque; fraternize Muslims; and enacted the Medina Charter.
The results; a unity of Madinah society that is multi-racial; ethnicity and religion; has been successfully formed through a social formula; politics and economy as contained in the Medina Charter.
The Charter of Medina was enacted six centuries earlier than the “magna carta;” is the basis of the strength of building a country that guarantees the rights of every citizen; without marginalizing any race.
We should all take note that the excellence of the Madinah government is due to the socio-political strength that guarantees the rights and justice of citizens; the effectiveness of unifying the community; and dynamic economic development.
His Majesty prioritizes the interests of many; compared to individuals. He did not champion a narrow agenda; on the contrary, be fair by developing an idea for the well-being of all.
The fact is; socio-political and socio-cultural differences are natural and natural human events.
But; Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam has taught us that the ability to form a united society across various boundaries of difference; is a recipe for the stability and success of a country.
Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala said in Surah Al-Mumtahanah; the 8th verse; which means:
“Allah does not forbid you from doing good and being fair to those who do not fight you because of your religion; and did not expel you from your hometown. Indeed, God loves those who act justly.”
Attendees and attendees who are blessed by God.
The teachings of Islam brought by Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam also required his people to always prepare in the face of any future possibility.
Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala said in Surah al-Nisa; the 71st verse; which means:
“O believers. Prepare yourselves; and advance to the field of battle in groups; or go forward together.”
It is clear; in any case; Allah Subhanhu Wata’ala reminds us to make preparations before any incident occurs; and before doing any work.
We are aware; that every year when the month of November is present; Malaysia will face the risk of floods.
Recently; The Malaysian Meteorological Department has predicted that the country will face continuous heavy rains and the risk of large-scale flooding from the end of November.
On this occasion; I want to remind all my people; to strengthen oneself and make preparations to face the phenomenon of climate change that will happen later.
Beta also requested that all relevant agencies to make comprehensive preparations for the benefit of the community.
The preparations are not only in the aspect of reducing the effects of floods; but devising a method for help to flood victims can be given in a planned manner; prompt and effective.
Taking the theme of this year’s Maulidur Rasul celebration which is: “Malaysian Family; Prosperity Catalyst;” let us unite the bond of heart; and focus efforts towards preserving the welfare of the community.
Let us not deviate too far from the path that was left by Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
His Majesty has given a perfect example and model for us to emulate together.
His Majesty has enlightened us with a true and just path.
Let us rise together and give priority to the welfare of the ummah by upholding the guidance and example that has been bequeathed by a most perfect and noble human being.
End the command; let us pray for mercy; and the overflow of love to the great master Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam; family member; and His Majesty’s friends.
May Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala protect this country we love; and his people from any calamity and danger.
