Russia develops special platform to block suspicious phone numbers and websites – PM Mishustin

MOSCOW: Russia is developing a dedicated platform to combat fraud, designed to identify and block suspicious phone numbers and websites more quickly, said Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

According to Russian news agency TASS, the tool aims to enhance public protection against potential fraudulent activities.

“We are developing this special platform, which will enable the swift identification and blocking of suspicious phone numbers, websites, applications, and accounts. It will serve as a centralized coordination hub for government agencies, banks, and law enforcement authorities,” he said.

The Prime Minister emphasized that law enforcement takes the issue of fraud seriously, adding that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been carrying out comprehensive efforts to address the matter.
