
Sabah Foundation honours 10 outstanding companies
KOTA KINABALU (Feb 22): Sabah Foundation honoured 10 of its companies for their outstanding achievements last year.
The awards presentation was held at during the Sabah Foundation’s Award on Night 2025 held at Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) here Friday.
The Most Promising Company Award was presented to Rakyat Berjaya Sdn Bhd, while Sabah International Convention Centre/D’Heritage Sdn Bhd received the Most Innovative Company Award and Sabah Softwoods Berhad was recognised with the Best Company Awards for Highest Dividend Contributor.
The Best Company “Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Award was awarded to Innoprise Plantation Berhad (Agroplantation Sector Category), Innoprise Jungle Lodge Sdn Bhd (Tourism Sector Category), Norsechem (Sabah) Sdn Bhd (Forestry and Timber Sector Category) and YSG Bioscape Sdn Bhd (Other Sectors Category).
The Best Company Award was awarded to Benta Wawasan Sdn Bhd (Agroplantation Sector Category), while Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort Kota Kinabalu/Tanjong Aru Hotel Sdn Bhd won in the Tourism Sector Category.
Norsechem (Sabah) Sdn Bhd won in the Forestry and Timber Sector Category) and Kimanis Power Sdn Bhd received the award in the Other Sectors Category).
Additionally, Innoprise Plantations Berhad received the Chairman of The Yayasan Sabah Board of Trustees Award.
State Legislative Assembly Speaker Datuk Seri Kadzim M Yahya represented Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, who is also chairman of Sabah Foundation’s Board of Trustees, and presented the awards to the recipients.
Kadzim also presented the Excellence Service Award (APC) to Yayasan Sabah staff during the event.
Also in attendance were Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif, Sabah Foundation Director Datuk Sri Ghulamhaidar Khan Bahadar and Innoprise Corporation Sdn Bhd (ICSB) Executive Chairman Datuk Jasnih Daya.
