Tom Tait and Slade Stewart Join MDK Motorsports for 2025 Michelin Pilot Challenge BMW Endurance Race

January 18, 2025, / PATASKALA, Ohio: MDK Motorsports has officially announced that accomplished racers Tom Tait and Slade Stewart will join their lineup for the 2025 Michelin Pilot Challenge BMW Endurance Race. Scheduled for January 24 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida, the four-hour endurance race serves as a prelude to the prestigious Rolex 24 at Daytona.

Driving a 2024 Porsche Cayman GT4 RS in the Grand Sport (GS) class, Tait and Stewart bring exceptional skill and experience to this high-stakes competition.

Racing to End Alzheimer’s Returns as a Key Sponsor
MDK Motorsports also revealed that Racing to End Alzheimer’s will continue its sponsorship of the team for the 2025 Ford Mustang Challenge series. This initiative leverages motorsports to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s care and research. Fans and team members can honor loved ones affected by the disease by making a $250 donation, which places their name on a race car. All proceeds directly support Alzheimer’s research and care.

In addition to the Ford Mustang Challenge, Racing to End Alzheimer’s will sponsor Tait and Stewart’s vehicle during the BMW Endurance race, further amplifying the mission’s visibility within the racing community.

Spotlight on the Drivers

Tom Tait:
A seasoned competitor, Tait joined MDK Motorsports in 2024 and quickly made an impact by winning the debut Ford Mustang Challenge event at Mid-Ohio in the Dark Horse Legends class. He finished the season ranked fourth overall in the standings. With an impressive 85% podium finish rate, Tait’s career highlights include competing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Championships (2022 and 2023) and the Porsche GT3 Cup Sprint Trophy Championships (2018 and 2019).

Slade Stewart:
Stewart has built a strong reputation in motorsports, securing the LB Cup class championship in the 2022 Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America series and finishing second in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals. In 2024, he competed in the Pro/Am class, earning a third-place finish in the U.S. Championship. Stewart has also showcased his versatility by participating in trophy truck races like the Tonopah 250 and Mint 400, as well as the Porsche Sprint Challenge.
