Turkey face Italy in EURO 2020 opener
It will be an exciting Euro 2020 opener as the classy Azzurri will face a determined young Turkish team.
Turkey coach Senol Gunes being optimistic believes they can pull a stunt by beating Italy.
The opening match at Stadio Olimpico in Rome will be played 18.45 GMT.
However, the Turkey coach in a press conference made a point that Roberto Mancini, Italy’s coach is an experienced man who knows Turkish football, having been the coach of Galatasaray.
Roberto Mancini is a coach with astounding experiences in English Premier League, Italian Seria A, plus the experience as a club and national player.
However, to be in a balance side, Mancini has warned his Italy side to be on their guard as they prepare to kick off their Euro 2020 campaign.
Mancini’s men go into the tournament as one of the favourites for the title after a 27-match unbeaten run, including winning all 10 of their qualifying games.
“The first match is always the most difficult. We must shake off the tension and not think about other things, just focus on what needs to get done, Mancini told a press conference.
So it will be a match to watch who holds the key strategy in experience, determination and break the any international match opener tense.
