Football Escapes Returns to Jumeirah Beach Hotel

Jumeirah Beach Hotel is delighted to bring back its popular Football Escapes programme this October, offering young guests a unique opportunity to train with football legends and create lasting memories. This season, junior footballers can look forward to sessions with former Premier League stars Michael Dawson and Michael Owen, who will host separate camps in October, followed by a special camp led by Joleon Lescott in December. There are also two further camps scheduled for February 2025, one of which will be led by Aaron Lennon. With each kick and goal, young players will develop their skills, make new friends, and leave with a sense of accomplishment.

This unforgettable school holiday experience invites young footballers to enhance their defensive techniques with Joleon Lescott from 27 to 31 December. Looking ahead to next year, there will be two camps running from 17 to 21 February, and 24 to 28 February respectively with Aaron Lennon leading the latter. Football Escapes at Jumeirah Beach Hotel promises an inspiring adventure for every young football fan.

Catering to junior guests at all skill levels and abilities aged between 5-15 years, sessions will focus on shooting, decision-making, tactical awareness, and technical skills, offering both specialised instruction and an opportunity to build camaraderie, with two hours of daily training (Monday to Friday from 9AM to 11AM). For parents looking to join the fun and showcase their skills, a parents’ match will be hosted on the Wednesday of each camp, giving them the opportunity to step on to the pitch alongside the football legends themselves.

Taking place at the hotel’s expansive outdoor venue, Janat Al Bahar, Football Escapes at Jumeirah Beach Hotel offers an engaging and fun environment for junior guests to improve their football skills – supported by a team of UEFA licensed coaches. Upon booking, players will receive a personalised video message from one of the camp ambassadors, along with a signed shirt to spark excitement for their upcoming adventure. A personalised training kit will be waiting for them on arrival at the hotel. At the end of the camp, each player will also be awarded a custom medal to celebrate and commemorate their experience.
