Developing the Potential of Entrepreneurs ahead of Malaysian Entrepreneur Day 2023
KUALA LUMPUR – After officiating the GlowBox event, Investment, Trade, and Industry (MITI) Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz praised the organiser for having this event as it expands entrepreneur network and attracting foreign investors to Malaysia.
The event organiser, Dewan Perniagaan Usahawan Kecil Malaysia (DPUKM) organised this event at Wangsa Maju here today as part of an initiative to celebrate Malaysia Entrepreneur Day 2023 (HUN) which will be held from 24 to 26 November 2023.
“Events such as this will promote international relations and develop Malaysia’s economy.”
“This effort not only helps entrepreneurs from small industries but also helps to export and penetrate the international market,” said Tengku Zafrul.
Tengku Zafrul also welcomed the noble efforts shown by DPUKM to assist small-scale entrepreneurs by guiding them in exporting products to the international market.
Flag Off GlowBox is an initiative utilizing the technology platform as a way to expand business networks.
Meanwhile, DPUKM Chairman Dato Seri Abu Hasan Mohd Nor express his appreciation to MITI Minister for officiating the event.
“We also want to invite all parties to continue to support Malaysian entrepreneurs by purchasing the products and services offered by them.
“In facing the challenges faced by the global economy, local support is important to ensure the growth and sustainability of our country’s entrepreneurs,” said Dato Seri Abu Hasan Mohd Nor.
Flag off GlowBox is the result of a joint effort between DPUKM and partner, RODEO Sdn Bhd who have successfully developed this mobile advertising medium.
The advertisements will be displayed on thousands of e-hailing vehicles registered under RODEO Sdn Bhd giving entrepreneurs a wide promotional space to expand their business network.
HUN is the largest gathering event among entrepreneurs in Malaysia with the presence of 1000 entrepreneurs from home and abroad who are expected to gather in this event.
This event not only provides an opportunity for local entrepreneurs to expand their business network but also attracts international investors to Malaysia.
The Chairman and organizing committee also thanked the partners, ES Event Management, Machita, Promas, and Edesa, who also made this event a success through strong collaboration.
