Exploring Opportunities to Strengthen Indonesia’s Aviation and Tourism Sectors

Vienna, Austria – Indonesian Ambassador in Vienna Dr. iur. Damos Dumoli Agusman has received a visit from Turkish Airlines General Manager for Austria and Slovakia, Serkan Özbüyükyörük on (25/08).

During the visit, Turkish Airlines expressed its ambition to expand the reach of its flights through a global network.

Ambassador Damos Dumoli Agusman and Mr. Serkan exchanged visions and missions to strengthen cooperation and maximize the potential for cooperation in the aviation sector. During the meeting, Mr. Özbüyükyörük also realized that Indonesia has great potential in the aviation world, in addition to similarities in economic resilience during the pandemic and high economic growth, as well as historical and cultural closeness.

For this reason, Turkish Airlines expressed its willingness to cooperate and participate in the activities of the Indonesian Embassy in Vienna, including in promoting Indonesian tourism.
