TNB’s Success in Vibration Analysis and Insitu Balancing at Pha Lai Thermal Power Plant, Vietnam
VIETNAM , Apr 5 (ASIA NEWS TODAY) – Three employees of TNB Genco have achieved notable success in completing the tasks of Vibration Analysis and Insitu Balancing at the Pha Lai Thermal Power Plant located in Chi Linh, Vietnam. The team, led by Khairil Ahmad Muhajir and comprising two other skilled engineers, Wan Mohd Khairul and Mohd Khidhir Zulkifli, has effectively managed to bring down the vibration levels observed in the bearings of Steam Turbine Unit 4 at the power station, which had previously surpassed the designated ‘Alarm’ threshold.
The professional expertise and dedicated service of this team, operating under the Mechanical Diagnostic Section within the Test & Diagnostic Unit of the Technical Services Department, played a crucial role in the successful execution of this project.
This endeavor was initiated in response to a project contract awarded by Electricity Vietnam – Northern Power Services (EVN-NPS) to TNB REMACO, facilitated through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that was formalized during the preceding year.
This accomplishment not only underscores the technical proficiency and problem-solving abilities of the TNB Genco workforce but also highlights the collaborative efforts undertaken to fulfill commitments and deliver quality service.
